Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy outlines how Node ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and safeguards information when you interact with our website and application features. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to the collection and processing of your information as described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information directly from you when you interact with our platform, as well as metadata automatically generated during your sessions.
- Authentication & Profile Information: When you log in using Discord OAuth, we collect and store your Discord Unique Identifier (ID), username, profile picture (avatar), and basic public profile details provided by the Discord API.
- User-Provided Content: We collect and store any text, media, files, or other data you explicitly upload, post, or submit anywhere on our site or through our interfaces.
- Support Logs & Communications: If you utilize our support features, live chat, or ticket system, we capture and maintain transcripts of those chat logs and communication records to assist you and manage operational requests.
- Technical & Diagnostic Metadata: To maintain platform operations, monitor server health, enforce security, and prevent abusive behaviors, our system infrastructure automatically collects diagnostic connection logs. This includes your IP address (IPv4 or IPv6), system configuration, timestamps, user-agent headers, and browser metadata.
2. How We Use Your Information
We process user data to provide, protect, and improve our services. Specifically, your data is used to:
- Authenticate your identity and manage your active account session via Discord.
- Process and display user-submitted content within the platform.
- Resolve user support requests, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain service quality.
- Maintain network security, mitigate rate limits, enforce geo-safety, and protect against automated attacks or fraudulent activity.
3. Automated Content Moderation & AI Processing
To maintain a safe community environment and ensure compliance with our terms, all user-uploaded content, text submissions, and media are evaluated using automated processing tools, including artificial intelligence (AI) and machine-learning systems. These automated mechanisms screen submitted material solely to identify and flag content that is unsuitable, policy-violating, or unlawful. Uploaded data processed for moderation is handled strictly to preserve platform safety and system integrity.
4. Third-Party Infrastructure & Service Providers
We utilize trusted third-party service providers to facilitate essential infrastructure functions:
- Authentication: Discord Inc. handles our primary identity authentication via OAuth.
- Edge Security & Routing: We utilize Cloudflare as a reverse proxy, web application firewall (WAF), and content delivery network. Cloudflare handles incoming web traffic and passes connection metadata (including IP addresses) to our origin servers to protect against distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attempts.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties or advertising networks.
5. Data Retention & Security
We maintain reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. Data collected—such as support logs, profile information, and connection logs—is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill system operations, security obligations, or legal requirements.
6. Updates to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be updated on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our site following updates indicates acceptance of the revised policy.

You agree not to use Node for any illegal, harmful, or abusive purpose. You strictly agree not to:
- Upload or transmit content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or harmful to minors.
- Attempt to bypass, exploit, or disable security mechanisms, rate limits, or automated content filtering.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or crawlers to extract data without explicit authorization.
- Interfere with or disrupt the performance, security, or network infrastructure of Node or Cloudflare.
3. Content Submissions & AI Moderation
You retain ownership of any content or media you submit to Node. However, by uploading content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the service. You acknowledge and consent that all submitted content is subject to automated AI screening to identify and prevent unsuitable material.
4. Service Availability & Termination
Node is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any account, or modify, restrict, or discontinue any feature at any time without prior notice if these terms are violated.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Node, its operators, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the platform.
